Over time you might find that your that your puppy training has drifted or your dog has returned to reactive behavior patterns.
Check-Up Sessions assess and correct your training technique related to previously addressed obedience or behavioral issues.
New or unrelated behavioral issues should be addressed more closely in a private 1-hr training sessions.

Training Walks

Whether you're looking for dog training in Harlem or the Upper West Side, training walks are the perfect way hand off the leash to your certified trainer to implement anything leash related: pulling, dropping anchor (plopping), ground grazing, leash reactivity, lunging, jumping, dog-dog greetings, chasing birds/squirrels, and reactivity to people, dogs, or objects (bikes, scooters, wheelchairs etc.).
Designed to be trainer-dog solo walks, there’s no need to squeeze it into your busy schedule!
Training walks are most efficient when used in conjunction with private training sessions where leash skills are taught.
*An initial consultation is required for new clients.

Make-up Classes

Sometimes it’s hard to attend all the scheduled training classes. Now you can purchase a make-up private training session to cover what was missed in class. Make-up classes include Puppy Obedience I/II, Adolescent Obedience I/II, Leash Skills Worksop, and Agility Training.
Classes are scheduled at a time convenient to both you and the trainer. Sessions may not be private and may occur in a group setting with location TBD.
*Extra fees may apply for agility make up classes.

$50 per 1 hr session.

Drop-in Agility (unstructured free time)

Drop-in Agility (Free Time) sessions provide an opportunity for you to provide physical and mental enrichment for your dog during an hour-long moderated free time on the agility course.
Use of the teeter-totter can be included as an add-on for $15.
Outdoor agility classes Upper West Side NYC in Central Park or Riverside Park.
*Please note that your vet should provide you with an assessment to ensure your dog can safely use the equipment.
*A waiver of liability must be signed.

Prior to booking please agree to the waiver and complete your intake form. Use this link if you somehow didn’t fill out the forms while booking your appointment.

This link will ask you to book a 5 min appointment for which there is no cost (it’s the only way to fill out the forms!). I’ll go back and delete the appointment, just pick any day and time available it doesn’t matter.

Appointments may be booked up to 12 hrs before hand or with my approval. Payment is due in full at the time of booking. I accept credit cards, atm cards, Apple Pay and Peer to Peer Payment Apps (Zelle, Venmo, Cash App) which are always welcome as they don’t incur processing fees! Just call to arrange before booking.

Please Note: All appointments (Check-ups and Group Classes excluded) require that an initial consultation be booked and completed at least 24 hrs. before your scheduled training session.

If purchasing a package, please use the provided code to book remaining appointments marked "...for use with packages" rather than a regular one-time appointment that will have a fee.

Cancellation policies/Late Arrivals

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hrs in advance without loss of payment (less 3% to cover processing fees).
Cancellations <24 hrs and no call/no shows will forfeit entire prepayment.
Cancellations approved by both parties due to inclement weather or other circumstances will incur no fee and will be rescheduled at the earliest convenience.
Cancellations for Group Classes are not refunded but may be made up by booking a private session.
Late arrivals within reason are allowed - we live in NYC right? However, the session must end at the same time if there is another pup scheduled in the next appointment slot.
Late arrivals for group classes may have to find their own way to the class location. Try to call ahead if running late or to find us.

Aggressive Dogs

All dogs must be friendly to be in group classes.

Please let me know if there is any history of aggression to humans or other dogs before class begins because there may be more appropriate training possibilities I can offer.
Aggressive, overly loud dogs will be asked to attend private training sessions rather than group classes.
All dogs can be aggressive, it’s absolutely fine, let’s work together!
