    Fun With Agility

(Starts 10/1/24 in Riverside Park, 10/4/24 in Central Park)

What's Agility Training? The sport of agility times a dog as (s)he races from obstacle to obstacle in a specified pattern requiring a handler to guide him through the course without making errors in the most efficient way possible.

At PJH Dog Training, we're a little more relaxed in this course. You and your dog will have a blast learning the course and handling techniques while strengthening the bond between you.

There’s no better way for your dog to develop better motor skills & body awareness, get the physical exercise, mental stimulation and confidence boost (s)he needs than through agility training!

We have weave poles, jumps, a handmade 14' see-saw, open and closed tunnels and more!

*Great for well-trained dogs, those with extra energy, anxiety issues, and even for those who need a little extra pep in their step and some focus.

  • Weather-related cancellations — Classes will still be held under very light rain conditions, with heavy rain, every effort will be made to reschedule during the same week or an additional week will be added to the end of the series. Please plan for at least one weather-related cancelation.

Aggressive Dogs

  • All dogs must be friendly to be in group classes.

  • Please let me know if there is any history of aggression to humans or other dogs before class begins because there may be more appropriate training possibilities I can offer.

  • Aggressive, overly loud dogs will be asked to attend private training sessions rather than group classes.

  • All dogs can be aggressive, it’s absolutely fine, let’s work together!
